Ultimately, our goal is to raise $750,000 for 11 Steinway pianos.
The Fresno City College Music Department’s All-Steinway School Initiative will replace the college’s aging pianos with state-of-the-art instruments made by Steinway. This will enhance the college’s ability to attract more students. It will elevate the overall performance standard, and will show a demonstrated commitment to the finest instruments for our students, faculty and visiting guests.
We are seeking to raise $750,000 for 11 pianos as well as a service endowment to ensure that the acquired pianos forever remain in excellent condition. Currently the State Center Community College District Foundation is matching donations.
